Da Mario in Wiesbaden

One of my favorite restaurants! The entire service team is incredibly nice and authentic. The food is always delicious and you can tell that high quality ingredients are used! I can absolutely recommend Da Mario!

Very nice staff, great ambience. The food is excellent. Fresh ingredients, tasty and fresh. Special requirements (gluten intolerance) are also taken into account. This was our first, but not our last visit.

Good, lean and interesting menu. Read the menu carefully to avoid dishes that are a bit dated, such as with cream-based sauce.

A great restaurant, both the food and the staff just great. And then the musical show from host Mario. Fantastic ? Always my pleasure.

Amazing food! Everything is made fresh by an amazing family ! Pasta, salad, pizza and if you have food allergies you are able to have things made that taste amazingly ! My favorite Italian restaurant to go to in Wiesbaden!!

My absolute favorite restaurant! A family company where you can feel yourself part of the family. Maria, the cook, has it easy and always fulfills our wishes. Toni is always super friendly, no matter how many dishes he has served that day. And the boss Mario always ensures a good mood!

Food tastes great, service was polite and courteous. Ordering and preparation went very quickly. Gladly again!

Everything I've eaten there has been an absolute hit. I love it from starters to desserts. The pizza in particular is amazing. The nice cook Maria, Chef Mario and the friendly Toni, who always ensure a good atmosphere. I always like to come back.

Since Mario is super tasty and you can eat in a great and warm atmosphere. Mario, Maria and Toni take care of the guests as if they belonged to the family. Super recommended!

A small but very good Italian. Mario cooks himself and always asks the guests if they are satisfied. The menu is not so big and therefore everything is very fresh and tasty. You should definitely book a table for Fr / Sam. Otherwise it can be difficult to find a place. The prices are civil. Price, performance is right.

Very good Italian food, a very original and warm service - Mario personally. In addition, Mary's heavenly cuisine is a treat! What I like most is that I feel in the beautiful ambience and hospitable staff just like in Italy! Can I only strongly recommend!

I am sorry to say it but the food was disgusting! I am 100% Italian I live in Italy and I grew up eating Italian food. In this restaurant it is not Italian food. From the table we could see the lady cooking our food and sadly I saw the lady sticking her hand in the pan to test the food, that make me sick! One lady was using gloves and the one that decided to try our food was not. My husband pasta it looks really scary and wasn't good at all. Place stinks of grease that mean not a clean restaurant. Never again there!

One of the best restaurants I’ve visited during my visit to Germany...the food is very delicious,the location and the decoration of the restaurant are more than beautiful,and the chef is very friendly❤️❤️love it

Hard not to love this place. Mario and his son are excellent hosts, and wonderful with our children (3 and 7). Friendly, welcoming, and they are not afraid of the noise my kids make, as kids often do. On top of that, the food is excellent. I have not been to Italy so cannot speak of the authenticity with any authority, but it’s the best I’ve had in a while, and feels like it’s home cooked. I highly recommend the cream sauce tagliatelle dish with shrimp. Bellissimo!

Good Italian

Amazing Food.. Love the place.. ???

Last Friday evening, my girlfriend ordered the Argentinian steak but she ended it up getting the Tuna. I told her to tell the waiter to take it back but she said it was alright. I told her it was not alright because that was not what she ordered. I was trying to waive the waiter but she insisted not to because she did not wanted me to make a scene or embarrass her. Also I ordered an Italian carne meal and the meat was pretty tough and chewy but we were tired and hungry from a long day of work and traveling from K-Town. The atmosphere is nice and the staff are friendly. But make sure you they get your order straight. I recommend you stick only to their pasta and pizza meals.

A bad place for non-smokers. To be correct, the restaurant is a non-smoker one and no one is allowed to smoke inside but the problem is from the OWNER himself and his employees who would go and stand at the restaurant's front door/entrance and SMOKE. And when you are in the restaurant, you smell all the cigarette smoke that is blown front the door/front entrance into the inside. We had a difficult time enjoying our meal that evening and even, actually ask the restaurant's owner to kindly not stand and smoke at his front entrance any more, but he scolded us, asked us why a big fuss about just a cigarette AND THEN went to the door to smoke again. We paid, collected our coats and went home and there were TWO other employees of the place at the open front door chatting and smoking.

The amazingly friendly service and family atmosphere is worth a visit alone. The pasta was phenomenal on top of that and we loved the wine and appetizers too.

Every time I'm in Wiesbaden I try to make a point of eating here. The excellent food and warm service keeps me coming back. The pasta is divine, their garlic focacia is tender, always a must as a starter, just everything is a joy.

Pretty funny waiter if you like this kind of thing. Food was mediocre. Would rather eat pasta than pizza.
